Another good day at Jomtien Fishing Park. I landed 14 striped catfish, the largest around 11kg. A friend landed the largest fish of the day (pictured above) guesstimated at 13kg.

A friend hauled out this Mekong giant catfish estimated at 25kg on Monday. It’s the largest fish I have seen come out of Jomtien Fishing Park.

A pleasant day at Jomtien fishing park with 12 striped catfish landed the largest weighing in at 16.5kg. Nearly all the fish were were in excellent condition with little redness around their mouths. Some other fishermen landed an even larger striped catfish, probably almost 20kg.

Another great afternoon’s fishing with 21 striped catfish landed the largest of which was 10.6 Kg. The last cast of the day my friend caught the 15Kg Mekong giant catfish pictured below.

I landed 12 striped catfish in a 6 hour afternoon/evening session the largest being 10.4Kg

It had been quite a while since I last fished it so for a change of scenery we headed over to Jomtien Fishing Park. I landed 9 striped catfish, the smallest around 7Kg and the largest around 9Kg.
